more trap shooting. hit 7/25 and 8/28 today. not so good. I was using my 20ga again. right barrel. The guys we were with were really fast. really really fast. So I felt rushed a lot of the time. I think I might be bruise free though.

I noticed definately that if the shotgun is canted I miss. Also it's easy to sort of cant the shotgun to cause the front bead to follow crossing birds and have it come all out of line with the back bead, thusly leading to yet more missing.

I think I like midday shooting with the old duffers better.

Also a question to ponder.. why do none of these guys ever move back? Why isn't there a league of people shooting anywhere other than the 17 yd line? They don't miss. I saw the five guys on the field ahead of us miss a total of two birds of 125. You'd think it'd be more challenging if they backed up.

I don't need more challenge yet, clearly. Also... I miss that sweet BT-99 from last week a lot.

Laura,

Get a 12ga. It's a lot easier when you're throwin more lead. While you're at it...get a good 12ga.

BTW - I started a blog myself.

Of course now that I've advertised I better get crackin on some posts.
