the semi-lucid ramblings of a person on the frontier of boredom without anything to do, and without any meaningful direcion. I love my job. Since I started working here I figured I'd spend the next 30 years doing the same thing. My free time is eaten up. I still don't really have much of a life, but I'm busy and it looks like fun.
I want my fillings. I go to the dentist on the 6th. I am tired of the sore tooth in the back of my mouth.
It seems everybody has had something to say in their weblogs about the Columbia exploding on re-entry. So I won't say much. I had the surreal experience of attending Space Camp both before and after the Challenger Accident (my brother and I got to go twice as kids about 9 months apart). The feeling there was very different the second time, the Challenger Accident, as they called it with near uniformity, had sucked the joy out of the shuttle program, as presented at Space Camp. It wasn't a somber place but the whole totally optimistic happy go lucky future forward nature of the place had changed it was more cautious, less joyous.
